Safe upgrading

Read whether the attempt consumes materials, currency or the base item.
Confirm the displayed chance and outcome in the live interface.
Keep core equipment separate until a replacement is available.
Compare the upgrade with the next conventional boss or raid reward.

The wiki does not publish a universal success rate because eligibility and balancing can change. The interface shown immediately before confirmation is authoritative.
