Combat Buddies are named companion fighters with their own combat XP, levels, interface, insurance and Pet perks. The starter treasure trail unlocks the first buddy, after which the Age Of Embers Guide lets the player choose the companion.
Services
Probita can open Pet Perks, insure or reclaim a Combat Buddy, and help swap the active buddy. Swapping requires the current buddy item in the inventory or bank, inventory space, and 5,000,000 coins. The interface also supports renaming.
Progression
The active buddy gains Combat Buddy XP while participating in eligible combat. Level-up messages report milestones to the owner. Pet-perk unlock requirements still apply, so companion level is an important progression target rather than a cosmetic number.
Available styles
The source contains melee, ranged and magic companion routes, including Bandos Warrior, Armadyl Ranger and Infinity Mage variants. Choose the style that complements the activities and equipment progression you expect to use most often.
