Age Of Embers uses one character across its supported clients. Always begin from the official Play page and never install a client sent by direct message or an unofficial mirror.
Desktop
The Windows installer is the recommended route for the strongest long-session experience. Portable and Java downloads are available for players who need them. Desktop is preferable for difficult raids and precise combat.
Webclient
The Webclient runs from the official website without a traditional installation. It is working and usable, making it a convenient way to enter the world quickly. Browser performance depends on hardware, browser support and available memory.
Mobile
The Mobile client supports iOS and Android in beta. It is usable for supported devices and touch-friendly activities, while difficult encounters may still be more comfortable on desktop. Beta means controls, compatibility and performance can continue to change.
