Account modes change trade access, progression rules and the way achievements are earned. Choose carefully at account creation and read the current confirmation dialogue before committing.
Age Of Embers supports regular progression and multiple restricted modes, including Ironman-style and group progression. The website currently presents six mode choices. Exact conversion rules and competitive eligibility should be confirmed in game because changing a mode can affect recognition and rankings.
Choosing a mode
- Regular: best for trading, learning the economy and playing with the widest range of people.
- Ironman-style: best for players who want self-sufficient acquisition routes.
- Group progression: best when a dependable group plans shared goals and storage.
- Hardcore or prestige variants: best only after understanding death or restriction rules.
